CMA CGM establishes joint venture with well-known European logistics company
Latest news: French CMA CGM announced yesterday that it will establish a European decarbonized transportation and logistics services strategic joint venture with GTS General Transport Service, a well-known European logistics company and Italy's leading multimodal transport company.
The name of the newly established joint venture is ECN (European Container Network)
A press release from CMA CGM stated: CMA CGM and GTS have joined forces to establish this strategic joint venture to provide reliable, affordable and decarbonized transport and logistics services in Italy and Europe.
The joint venture, called ECN (European Container Network), will combine the expertise and resources of both companies to provide innovative and sustainable transport solutions for any container business in Italy and Europe.
By leveraging GTS' assets, expertise and network in Italy and other European countries, as well as CMA CGM's global shipping capabilities, the joint venture will provide integrated door-to-door transportation services to the entire market, increasing efficiency and reducing carbon emissions.
The joint venture will focus on expanding intermodal transportation options, optimizing supply chain processes, and driving innovation in the transportation industry. In line with its commitment to sustainability, the partnership will prioritize environmentally friendly practices and technologies to minimize environmental impact.
The joint venture, initially focused on the Italian market but catalyzing rapid growth across Europe, is an important milestone for both companies and underlines their commitment to making their customers' supply chains as green and reliable as possible. With a shared vision for the future, GTS and CMA CGM are ready to provide value-added services and set new standards for industry excellence.

Sunny Worldwide Logistics has been established for more than 25 years. It has purchased 1,800 square meters of Grade A office buildings in Shenzhen. It has its own warehousing and self-operated fleet in Shenzhen, which greatly meets the supporting needs of customers.
